Worried About Ransomware or Virus Attacks?

We offer a new simple and effective solution:

Don’t Let Them Run

If ransomware or a virus cannot execute, it cannot harm your computer. The computer's operating system can restrict program execution, ensuring that only authorized programs are allowed to run.

By using a whitelist that contains all authorized libraries and folders, the computer operating system can check this whitelist first and prevent any unauthorized programs from running.

This whitelist, including its libraries, folders, and all executable programs, is set to READ-ONLY during normal operation. No one—not even users with admin, su, sudo, or root privileges—can modify it. To make any changes, the system must be booted into a safe mode inaccessible to hackers. This approach prevents any unauthorized modifications to the whitelist or its associated files by online attackers.

By utilizing this technology, the computer system can:

  1. Prevent all ransomware and viruses—both newly emerging threats undetected by antivirus programs and older variants—from executing at any time.

  2. It does not rely on antivirus programs, eliminating the need for one altogether.

  3. Even if hackers manage to break into the system, they cannot run any unauthorized programs.

  4. Disgruntled employees will not be able to execute any unauthorized code.

  5. Since this whitelist includes only libraries and folders path names, rather than individual executable programs, it is much easier to maintain.

  6. It is maintenance-free, as there are no virus signature files to update. The whitelist only requires updates when installing a new software product or removing an old one.

  7. Because this whitelist includes all kernel-level executables, it renders the system immutable.

  8. Most vulnerabilities can only be explored by a program, if this program cannot run, this vulnerability can be safely ignored.

We offer a fully functional product, FunDo Version 1, based on Ubuntu 24.04, and we can customize a new product using any Linux-based open-source operating system.
